
Creamy Veggie Korma
Made this amazing Veggie Korma from BBC’s site! I made a few changes as I was missing some of the ingredients ! Check out below to see the recipe and I will highlight the things I left out:
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 3 cardamom pods, bashed (Left out)
- 2 tsp each ground cumin and coriander
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- 1 green chilli, deseeded (if desired) and finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- thumb-size piece ginger finely chopped
- 800g mixed vegetable, such as carrots, cauliflower, potato and courgette, chopped (I did trusted my instincts and put what I felt was the proper portion)
- 300-500ml hot vegetable stock (Used 300ml)
- 200g frozen peas (Used 1 cup)
- 200ml yogurt (Used 1 cup)
- 2 tbsp ground almonds (Did not use)
Make it non-veggie
- ½ small raw chicken breast per portion (Kept it vege)
To serve
- toasted flaked almonds, chopped coriander, basmati rice or naan bread (Just rice)
