Creamy Veggie Korma

Made this amazing Veggie Korma from BBC’s site! I made a few changes as I was missing some of the ingredients wink! Check out below to see the recipe and I will highlight the things I left out:


  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 3 cardamom pods, bashed (Left out)
  • 2 tsp each ground cumin and coriander
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 green chilli, deseeded (if desired) and finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • thumb-size piece ginger finely chopped
  • 800g mixed vegetable, such as carrots, cauliflower, potato and courgette, chopped (I did trusted my instincts and put what I felt was the proper portion)
  • 300-500ml hot vegetable stock (Used 300ml)
  • 200g frozen peas (Used 1 cup)
  • 200ml yogurt (Used 1 cup)

  • 2 tbsp ground almonds (Did not use)

Make it non-veggie

  • ½ small raw chicken breast per portion (Kept it vege)

To serve

  • toasted flaked almonds, chopped coriander, basmati rice or naan bread (Just rice)
